Welcome to Educate Ethiopia. My name is Anna, I am a high school student in Cairo, Egypt and have become extremely interested in the Educate Ethiopia program. I have begun the process of creating a program in my school where all proceeds go towards Educate Ethiopia. Any amount of money can help, and any fundraiser put into motion is a good way to start. I encourage everyone who is interested in making a difference in someones life to try and begin a service project, or a club where all the money you earn through fundraisers goes to Educate Ethiopia.
Many of my peers have gone to Ethiopia and seen the terrible living conditions, East Africa is a region of the world that needs all the aid it can get. I urge all those that can help, to help. You lose nothing, and could allow a child to receive an education he or she never imagined.

I was initially having trouble coming up with beneficial fundraising ideas, but with some outside help, I was able to decide on a few that I think will be helpful to my community, and will hopefully make people want to get involved. However, I feel that executing my ideas is going to be more difficult than coming up with them. The right people need to be involved, and a lot of planning needs to happen so things run smoothly. I intend on making sure the fundraisers I plan are well planned, and effective.

I heard some kids talking about this project and i think it sounds like such a good idea. I would really like to contribute. I think I have some cool ideas on how to raise money. So, tell me when you get a meeting date because I would definitely come.
